Do You Like Druuugs...

I can only describe myself as being fueled by fear, and by that I mean, my curiosity is predominantly sparked by the things I fear. After all, we only fear the unknown. I am intrigued by the things that I grew up unfamiliarized to. As a kid I can say I was what most would see as sheltered, I see it as safe. That being said, having the opportunity to meet new people and be introduced to the lives that they live has opened my eyes to so many things that I have not physically encountered. We all know of the things that the internet introduces to us, but at what point do we surpass words written by faces that in most cases we have never even seen. When do we do our own digging so we can develop an understanding of our own.

Over this past week, I did exactly that. The most common "drug" used in our society today is, in whatever term you may like to use for it, marijuana. I can honestly say, the better portion of my friends either smoke marijuana or have at least tried to before. Of course I have had ample opportunities to partake but I continuously decline, not out of fear, just out of hatred for smoke.

I had the pleasure of meeting a few people that tend to indulge in a few substances that had a moment to sit and talk with me. I must admit, it gave me an understanding of why rich men tend to do drugs. That being said, there isn't a chance in hell that I would try it myself but to each his own. In conjunction with this blog there is of course a podcast that will be uploaded, hopefully within the week but first I must share a few things.

First and foremost, never has there been a time where I felt an urge to try cocaine in any way, shape, or form. I do NOT encourage anyone to try ANY drug at any time unless that is what YOU choose to do. We are all in control of our own actions and are responsible for fulfilling our own destinies. Follow a path that is right for you, not for me or for the people that I have chosen to surround myself with because they DO NOT have any influence over my decisions. To my family members that have chosen to indulge in the reading of this blog, thank you, and don't worry. I have no intention of trying any drugs, any time soon.
